SMFR and Tulsa Fire Departments Are Pilot Partners

Southern Manatee Fire and Rescue (SMFR) and the Tulsa Fire Department (TFD) signed pilot partnership agreements with Squishy Robotics in June 2020 and September 2020, respectively. The pilot partnerships sent several Squishy Robotics drone-droppable sensor robots to both departments for testing and use in 2020 and 2021. Firefighters and HazMat teams will provide regular feedback and advice during the pilot partnerships that will help advance the efficiency and performance of our robots and software.

Squishy Robotics is UC Startup Innovation Challenge Finalist

Squishy Robotics was selected as one of 10 finalists for the University of California 2021 Startup Innovation Challenge. The Innovation Challenge is held in partnership with Extreme Tech Challenge (XTC), the world’s largest tech-for-good startup competition.
