Berkeley, CA, Squishy Robotics, Inc., June 2018 – has been awarded a National Science Foundation (NSF) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant for $225,000 to conduct research and development (R&D) work on Shape-Shifting Robots for Disaster Rescue, Monitoring and Education.

Alice M. Agogino, Co-Founder, President and Chief Technology Officer of Squishy Robotics and Professor of Mechanical Engineering at UC Berkeley , was honored with the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science, Mathematics and Engineering Mentoring from the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) and the National Science Foundation (NSF).
