Agogino participated in panel about A.I. and disaster response

Squishy Robotics CEO Dr. Alice Agogino participated for a second time in a United Nations Telecommunication Union (ITU-UN)-hosted AI for Good webinar. The online event marked the launch of the Robotics for Good Youth Challenge 2024-2025: Disaster Response, and the panelists focused on how robots and new technologies are addressing sustainable development challenges. (More information about the Robotics for Good Youth Challenge is available here.)

Agogino talked about a variety of disaster response issues and solutions, highlighting Squishy Robotics’ strategy for intense methane reduction in a human-relevant time frame. This work focuses on increasing the number and quality of methane measurement data points available across production sites, reducing greenhouse gases, and making it safer and less expensive to conduct continuous monitoring—even in remote, unmanned locations.
