Squishy Robotics was the grand prize winner at the TECH PLANTER Silicon Valley Demo Day on October 11. CEO Alice Agogino presented our robotic platform and technologies before judges who were representatives from mostly Asia-based companies interested in Deep Tech. In addition to the prize money, two members of the Squishy Robotics team will be flown to the Hyper-Interdisciplinary Conference in Japan scheduled for March 2020. This multinational conference will enable Squishy Robotics to meet and network with businesses throughout Asia and pursue angel investment and corporate partnerships including with Mitsubishi Electric, Yammer, DNP, Mitsui Chemicals, Japan Unisys, Omron, Suntory, Yoshinoya Holdings, Nippon Steel and Sumikin Engineering, Glico, Rohto Pharmaceuticals, THK, Kawasaki, Takeda Pharmaceuticals, SOMPO Digital Lab, NEC X, and Aerodyne.
