Squishy Robotics was selected as one of 10 finalists for the University of California 2021 Startup Innovation Challenge. The Innovation Challenge is held in partnership with Extreme Tech Challenge (XTC), the world’s largest tech-for-good startup competition. As a chosen finalist, Squishy Robotics made a pitch at the Global Corporate Venturing Digital Forum in late January 2021.
Squishy Robotics was among the recipients of the inaugural “Good Robot” Industry Awards presented by the non-profit industry association, Silicon Valley Robotics (SVR). The SVR Industry Awards celebrate the robotics, automation, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) that will help the world solve global challenges.
Alice M. Agogino, Co-Founder, President and Chief Technology Officer of Squishy Robotics and Professor of Mechanical Engineering at UC Berkeley , was honored with the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science, Mathematics and Engineering Mentoring from the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) and the National Science Foundation (NSF).
