Soft robotics was the focus of a recent Axios technology story. The news website interviewed company CEO Dr. Alice Agogino and devoted a significant portion of its video news piece to Squishy Robotics tensegrity robots. The story illustrated the many advantages that our technologies offer for safety, information gathering, and communications.

SMFR and Tulsa Fire Departments Are Pilot Partners

Southern Manatee Fire and Rescue (SMFR) and the Tulsa Fire Department (TFD) signed pilot partnership agreements with Squishy Robotics in June 2020 and September 2020, respectively. The pilot partnerships sent several Squishy Robotics drone-droppable sensor robots to both departments for testing and use in 2020 and 2021. Firefighters and HazMat teams will provide regular feedback and advice during the pilot partnerships that will help advance the efficiency and performance of our robots and software.
